Christopher Morgan

Owner, Embalmer, Funeral Director, Crematory Manager, Insurance Agent

Christopher Morgan was born in Sacramento and raised in the apartment above the North Sacramento Funeral Home.  He graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in June of 1997 and is a licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director and Crematory Manager.  Christopher also has his insurance license which allows him to assist families making arrangements in advance.  Since his father’s passing and his mother’s retirement, he continues to oversee the daily operations of the funeral home.

Sarah Wood

Owner, Funeral Director, Crematory Manager, Insurance Agent

Sarah is a crucial component in the co-management of the North Sacramento Funeral Home with Christopher Morgan including daily administration and future expansion.  She meets with families and also has her insurance license to assist families wanting to make advanced arrangements.

Rita Morgan

Owner, Retired Funeral Director

Rita Morgan retired in 2014 after being a crucial component of the daily operations of North Sacramento Funeral Home for over 40 years.  Although she occasionally stops by to visit, she spends most of her time relaxing, reading and doting on her chihuahua Ziggy.  Many families that she assisted remember her fondly and often recall the warm and caring assistance that she provided to them during their time of loss.     

John Johnson, Jr.

Funeral Director, Embalmer, Insurance Agent

John is a consummate professional and a rising star within the funeral industry.  He graduated from American River College with a degree in Mortuary Science in 2016.  He has proven himself to be a skilled embalmer and funeral director through his interactions with families that he serves.  John has an innate sense of how to best guide families through the difficult process of losing a loved one.  He also has his insurance license which allows him to assist families making arrangements in advance.

Joseph Miksits

Funeral Director, Embalmer, Insurance Agent

Joseph "Joe" Miksits is a funeral director and embalmer with over 15 years of experience in the funeral industry.  He was raised in Sacramento and is very familiar with the geographical area and the diverse communities that reside here.  He has extensive embalming experience and can work closely with families to ensure that their expectations are met and exceeded in their time of need.  Joe also has his insurance license so he can assist families with making pre-need arrangements.

Lisa Stratfull

Funeral Director, Embalmer

Lisa recently joined our staff and comes to us with many years of experience in the funeral industry.  She graduated from American River College with a degree in Mortuary Science in 2007. She is a highly skilled embalmer and can assist families with the ceremonial dressing of their loved one.

Lyanne Ginocchio

Arrangement Counselor

Lyanne Ginocchio was born and raised in North Sacramento and is an Arrangement Counselor who meets with families.  She is fluent in Spanish and very familiar with assisting families wanting to ship their loved one internationally to Mexico and South America.  She has years of experience and makes lasting connections with families in her care.

Shawntay Jones

Administrative Assistant

Shawntay recently joined our staff and works as an Administrative Assistant.  She has many years of experience within the industry and is very knowledgeable regarding the completion of death certificates.  She is also very kind which is a comfort to grieving families.

Monica Morgan

Administrative Assistant

Monica has worked at North Sacramento Funeral Home for over 8 years and has many additional years of experience within the funeral industry.  She is crucial to the timely completion of death certificates and also works closely with families to create tribute slideshows, service memorial folders and personalized guest books.  Families find her friendly and very helpful.

Frank Lopez, Sr.

Certified Crematory Operator

Frank Lopez, Sr. has worked at the North Sacramento Funeral Home for over 24 years as a Certified Crematory Operator.  Frank’s skills are imperative to the smooth operation of the crematory and he has a keen sense of crematory protocol as he worked under the guidance of Henry Morgan for many years.  Frank is bilingual and provides translation for Spanish speaking families.

Gregory Taylor

Mortuary Driver, Certified Crematory Operator

Greg is our primary mortuary driver in charge of bringing decedents into our care from their place of passing.  Families appreciate his compassionate manner and effective assistance in their time of need.  He works as a crematory operator when he is not driving.
